WordPress 2.6 Has Been Released!

Much anticipated and nearly a month early, WordPress 2.6 is now in official release. Some of the great new features are:
- “Wiki-like” tracking of edits
- Press This! Posting from anywhere on the web!
- Google Gears to speed up your action in the dashboard!
- And my favorite - Tweak your theme before taking it live! Woohoo for Theme previews!

We are big supporters of WordPress, however, even though this new version is released and there are a lot of never features, I am warning people of possible bugs and plugin incompatibilities.
If you check out the forums, you will find that a lot of users are having problems with the new version. So if you have a large site with a lot of added features, it might be good to wait until things settle down. Who knows, there might be a 2.6.1 in the near future.
